    Design & Technology

Design & Technology (DT) has long been an important, exciting & successful element of the whole school curriculum. Essentially, DT aims to provide activities in which the learner can exercise designing & making skills & knowledge to create high-quality products. DT takes the learner forward from an awareness that humankind is capable of making modifications to its environment, to a point where students feel confident in their own ability to make changes themselves. We provide the opportunity for pupils to develop their capability at all levels & all abilities. The ability to move from designing for themselves to designing for others. In doing so, we offer a range of courses at Key stage 3 and 4 and in the Sixth form.
